Queenie in the beginning

It seems strange that an animal many people have never heard of could be in need of rescue, but due to over-breeding, swap meet, glider mills, and impulse buying these amazing creatures are fast becoming throw away pets.

We at Suggie Savers are here to help.

We take in abused, neglected, throw away, malnurished, sick or injured sugar gliders, and gliders who are in need of a home for many reasons.

We mend hearts and tiny bodies.

We take care of their medical, nutritional and social needs, and then hopefully find them a forever home. This is by no means a fast process, and some of our rescues will never be able to be adopted out, BUT they will be loved by us forever.

YOU RESCUED ME

You rescued me, I thank you
I thank you everyday
I thank you when you hold me
And take me out to play

I thank you when you feed me
That great nutritious food
I thank you for your patience
When I’m in a bad mood

I thank you when I look at you
With my big nocturnal eyes
And I thank you at least 1,000 times
My tiny little size

I’m thankful that you loved me
When I came to you in pain
You held my tiny little hand
And gave me shelter from the rain

Thank you for proving to me
That humans can be good
It took so long to trust you
I’m so glad you understood

It’s hard to trust someone
Who’s so many times your size
But I have no doubt you love me
When I look into your eyes

Im so thankful that you love me
The way a glider should be loved
I still don’t know the reason
But I thank the Lord above

I thank the Lord you found me
And gave me a home that’s mine
And I promise I will love you
Until the end of time.

If you ever get discouraged
About the good you do
Remember it was your unselfish love
That helped me make it through

Thank you again for loving me
When I was once thrown out
And for showing me each and every day
What real love is all about

You have been a hero
For many Animals like me
And have helped more than you know
Or will ever see

For every glider you have saved
You’re our hero and so much more
You are the one that we can trust
And the one that we adore

If you want a sugar glider without the work, smell, major cost, vet problems, diet difficulties, bonding time, and work, you can adopt one of our gliders virtually. We plan to send you a picture of your glider and information on how he/ she is doing. For a small monthly fee you can help defer some of the costs of the many costs we have, and your contribution is tax deductable.
